The Antioch Model
"In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers...While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them..." - Acts 13:1-3
Acts 13 describes an important principle in mission strategy declaring that Paul and Barnabas take Christ to the nations and other countries. This occurred at the city of Antioch.
Antioch Church was the first church to do something about our Lord's great commission and directive of the Holy Spirit to go into the entire world and make disciples. Our school is to model this calling of disciples for the Great Commission.
